Psychosis: Teaser is a survival horror game in which the player is transported to a world where demons hunt the player and “logic is turned inside out.” The game is available for free under a name-your-own pricing model, though it is only a teaser of a complete version of the game. This teaser features around an hour of gameplay.

Unlike survival horrors like Resident Evil 4, this game takes place from a first-person perspective. The game allows players to use blunt objects to fight demons and features a degree of exploration as the player tries to find their way out of the strange world they find themselves in.

Transported to a hostile world

Psychosis: Teaser follows the story of a protagonist who works in a small office in the rural Pacific Northwest. They receive a strange phone call asking for help and, upon responding to that call for help, find themselves trapped in a hostile world full of demons. The game represents a shortened chapter of what the full game offers.

Fight demons and unravel the mystery

The gameplay of Psychosis: Teaser sees the player exploring the strange world they find themselves in. They can use blunt objects, as well as firearms, to fight off the attacks of hostile demons when they’re found. There are also mysterious pieces of a missing family to discover.

Promising, but short game

Being essentially a demo of the complete game, Psychosis: Teaser is quite short at around an hour’s gameplay. However, it manages to pack a lot in, features an effective atmosphere that is unsettling, and should appeal to fans of classic survival horror games.
